Union City
Condominium in Unionville-Markham.
Union City is a master-planned community by Metropia, rising on 12 acres in the heart of Unionville-Markham along Enterprise Boulevard. The vision spans nine planned towers alongside new residences, recreation, offices, retail and parks, set directly beside the Unionville GO station, the Viva Enterprise Bus Rapid Transit, the Markham Pan Am Centre and the York University Markham campus. Phase 1 introduces three architecturally linked towers of 44, 40 and 36 storeys, together holding 1,360 suites that range from roughly 400 to 1,700 square feet.
Designed by IBI Group, the architecture takes the arc as its starting point — a connecting motif that wraps across the community from the curvilinear balconies to the landscaped mews, with a stepped profile that maximizes privacy and clear north or south views. Residents share more than 72,000 square feet of hotel-inspired amenities, anchored by Union House, a 5,000-square-foot private social club, plus the Oasis indoor pool, the FitLab fitness studio, the Nest lounge and a landscaped rooftop terrace. Landscape design is by Quinn Design Associates Inc.
