New detached homes in King City

IRIS is a new community of 52 detached homes in King City by Acorn Developments. These residences range from 3,605 to 5,615 square feet and are built for a contemporary lifestyle. The community features a 10.5-kilometre trail system and three parks for recreation. The site is designed so homes back onto the natural heritage system rather than neighbouring properties.

Every home is ENERGY STAR certified, featuring third-party blower-door testing for airtightness, an energy-efficient tankless water heater, and an ERV paired with the heating system. The ground level features 10-foot ceilings, while the basement and second floor offer 9-foot ceilings, except in sunken, raised, and dropped areas. Garages include a rough-in for an electric vehicle charging system.

Homes include energy-efficient systems and premium interior finishes.

Living spaces feature engineered wood flooring and stained oak staircases with black steel pickets and an oak handrail. A linear gas fireplace includes a blower and remote. Gourmet kitchens come with custom hood fan canopies, soft-close cabinetry, two sets of pots and pans drawers, and stone countertops. Primary ensuites offer a freestanding tub and a frameless shower enclosure, both with hand showers.

The community is also near the King City Public Library and the King City Arena and Community Centre.

King City GO allows commuters to reach Toronto in about 40 minutes, while area highways connect to Newmarket or Barrie in roughly 30 minutes.
